NVIDIA doing great thanks to mobile

NVIDIA has recently posted it’s 3rd quarter 2011 revenues and they are looking good. The company announced a total revenue of $1.07 billion in the third quarter alone which translates to a profit of $173.8 million earnings. This figure is slightly higher than what they originally hoped for at $1.06 billion.
What’s interesting is that their success is owed not to there desktop and laptop chips, but because of their mobile processor chips. NVIDIA’s CEO Jen Shun says that they owe a big portion of their success from their GPU business and the growing demand from gamers and business customers.
